Academic Overview | Advising | CORE | MATH | English | UNIV100 | AP/IB/Clep & Transfer Credits | Maryland Marching Band | ROTC
If you have taken or are planning to take an AP, IB, or CLEP exam or a course at another institution, you’ll need to determine course equivalency so that you don’t register for a course for which you have or will receive credit.
Visit the Transfer Credit Center for information on course equivalencies, test scores, credit reports, and articulation tables.
Posting to Your UM Transcript
You also need to make sure that any AP, IB, Clep, and/or Transfer Credits have been received by the University of Maryland. This information posts on your transcript. It is your responsibility to check your transcript and determine its accuracy.
Once you’ve confirmed spring admission to the University, you can view your transcript to see what has posted to your student record.
- Click here to view your unofficial transcript via Testudo.
Follow these steps if information is missing:
- Determine that the scores were sent by contacting the agency that has your scores and giving them the information to send the scores to the University of Maryland.
- If the agency said that scores were sent, check with Student Services, csrecm@umd.edu, to be sure all AP, IB, CLEP, and college transcripts have been posted to your University of Maryland transcript.
- If no equivalencies appear, you’ll need to contact the Transfer Credit Center at tccinfo@deans.umd.edu.
